Outstanding view, quiet and tranquil, convenient location, fantastic hosts, beautiful walks, friendly people, felt like home

The value for money at this hotel was incredible! The room was warm, clean, and had comfy beds with a good shower. The location was perfect for beautiful walks and it was very convenient to have a food shop, pub, and takeaway nearby. The hosts, Mary and her family, were absolutely delightful and made us feel like we had known them for years. We loved watching the horses and chickens in the field opposite the kitchen window. The view from the main bedroom and kitchen was outstanding, and the overall tranquility and quietness of the place made for a truly relaxing stay. We will definitely be going back!

The breakfast could have been improved by updating the cooker, as the numbers had rubbed off and there was some guesswork involved when cooking.

We recently stayed at a lovely little cottage in a peaceful location with breathtaking views. The accommodation was warm, clean, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy, the shower was great, and we enjoyed watching the horses and chickens from the kitchen window. Despite the lack of WiFi, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the 4G coverage was excellent, allowing us to stay connected. it was a home away from home experience, and we would highly recommend it.

And the peace and quiet was just what we needed during our Christmas getaway. the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring nearby areas. Plus, the warm and comfy beds provided a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing.

While the accommodation was basic, some amenities were lacking, like a microwave and washing machine. the shower over the bath leaked and had trouble maintaining a consistent water temperature.
